Port Adriano consolidates its Best of Yachting concept.

The third edition of Best of Yachting Port Adriano confirmed the success of a formula that packages a boatshow with an entertainment programme for all ages within an exclusive marine environment; in this case the Port Adriano marina in Calviá (Majorca, Spain) designed by Philippe Starck.

Best of Yachting Port Adriano, which took place from 10 – 12 June, is a unique event. “Compared to other boatshows the exhibitors here have a real opportunity to spend quality time with their clients”, explains Nani Mas, Commercial Director of Port Adriano. “This is important, since these are knowledgeable people who require undivided, expert attention, something you can only achieve in the right environment”. This is the ideal scenario is provided by the luxury facilities and atmosphere at Port Adriano.
Exclusive boats, demanding clientèle
The Best of Yachting Port Adriano featured a number of boats exhibited by brands based in the marina. It was an attractive and diverse fleet of sailing and motor boats ranging from the 5.8 metre Nautilus 19 rigid infaltable to the 28 metre, majestic Sunseeker Autumn. Between these two ends, the offer included brand new and pre-owned boats from Azimut, Chris Craft, Delta, Fjord, Frauscher, Jeanneau, Mochi and Nautor’s Swan.

Visitors enjoyed the opportunity to look over and even test a variety of boats in the beautiful surroundings of Port Adriano; a one-off occasion fitting for the most demanding of clients. “This year we felt that the profile of the visitors really matched the event’s philosophy,” explains Mas. “The exhibitors are really happy; they’ve all met some very interesting prospective clients.”

Activities for everyone
Apart from the more commercial element, Best of Yachting Port Adriano also offers some real entertainment. The social programme was reinforced this year with activities designed to celebrate Marina Day on Saturday; an open-door day in marinas all over Spain.

The complete menu of entertainment over the weekend included Flyboard and Surf Board exhibitions, sailing and SUP lessons, nautical-themed workshops and contests for children, introductions to divin, live music and even a Best of Fashion catwalk, which converted the marina in a luxury fashion show featuring items available in the boutiques based in the Port Adriano, such as Nova Línea, Leo Ni, Show Shoes, Lirouage and Rosemarine.

Best of Yachting Port Adriano featured boats from Marivent Yachts, Sunseeker Mallorca, Princess Motor Yacht Sales, FYS Baleares and Frauscher. Best of Yachting Port Adriano is sponsored by Nauti Parts, Terraza Balear, Yacht Center Palma, Seakeeper, Hapimag and Uppereast.
