Calvià, March 7th, 2022
True to the organisation of events outside the summer season and committed to culture, Port Adriano has announced the winners of the 4th Photography Competition, the deadline for which began at the end of 2021.
The theme this year was “Change”, a theme very much in line with the present day and with which we all feel very much identified with.
As in previous years, Port Adriano has had the collaboration of EDIB, Photopills and Fotoruano.
Every year, the competition grows in participation and in this edition more than 800 snapshots from almost 350 participants were received. Not only from the Balearic Islands, but from many parts of Spain, even from Israel, India and this year we have received many from Latin America.
The difficulty of the selection of the photos has been a constant in this competition and the selection of the most voted photos is proof of this. The jury takes into account the technique, composition… but the story behind each photo is also very important. Each one is a story about something. The story they tell has a decisive weight when it comes to making them more attractive.
The three winning photos, in alphabetical order, are:
Das Erste Mal, by Josef Hinterleitner
Desertización, by Miquel Planells Saurina
Sin título 2, by Javier Arcenillas
The 20 photographies selected and which will be exhibited in Port Adriano during the summer of 2022 are the following:
