Starck’s marina had the pleasure of having luxury artists for the opening of its concert season.

Port Adriano inaugurated its Music Festival, with the world-renowned Tom Jones and George Benson. A luxury poster that, in its fifth edition, consolidates this festival and makes it the most anticipated of the island having already hosted a score of performances by national and international musicians of recognized prestige.

On July 20th  landed the unmistakable Tom Jones. The British singer, with a trajectory of more than 50 years acting in the scenes of the world and more than 100 million discs sold, did it with a blockbuster on the stage of Port Adriano “It’s not unusual” “Sex Bomb” Or “Delilah” were some of the songs that were heard with their characteristic voice and unmistakable style.

On July 25th, we had the pleasure of having the jazz & pop giant George Benson. The world-renowned American guitarist and composer, winner of 10 Grammy Awards was in Mallorca to present his latest album and the great successes of an international career that takes him every year to travel the world. Benson is not only one of the best guitarists in jazz history, but also a surprisingly versatile musician who can play swing, bebop, rhythm’n’blues, soul or pop with exquisite taste. Influenced by guitar legends like Charlie Christian and Wes Montgomery, he has nevertheless created his own style. Songs like “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You” and “Give Me the Night” made our attendees get up from their seats on a night that was certainly unmatched.

Five years of concerts

Discover the Live Music in Port Adriano is a project that came to light in July 2013, together with Jazz Voyeur with the aim of creating and consolidating a medium-term international summer festival for a large music buff and his great interpreters in Mallorca.

Since its beginning in July 2013 with the Diego El Cigala concert, Port Adriano has hosted Gloria Gaynor, Earth Wind & Fire, Madeleine Peyroux, Kool & The Gang, The Secrets, Buena Vista Social Club, Roger Hodgson, Men G, 2 Cellos, Electric Light Orchestra and Jorge Blass, among many others.

The proximity of the public to the artists, the location in a very special and unusual environment and the possibility of enjoying the varied gastronomic offer of the port, has been fundamental to consolidate this project, which has the support of a demanding public who comes on time to each of the calls.
